Hire/Collection of Academic Dress
All graduands are required to wear academic dress during the Degree
Conferring Ceremonies.
At UNSW each faculty has different hood colours, at UNSW Canberra we have adopted the tri-service colour for our faculty.
If you miss the deadline for ordering your gown, photography and framing please contact Debbie Moore on 02 6268 8727 at Student Administrative Services.
Payment
Academic dress hire fees for the 2012 Ceremonies are $75 (including GST) for the Gown, Hood and Trencher or Bonnet.
Payment for regalia hire is made on the website at the time you specify your details, degree, trencher and gown size. The website will be open until COB Sunday 18 November 2012
Collection of Academic Dress
Academic Library in the Learning Hub area will be open for collection of academic dress from 12:00pm to 7:00pm on Tuesday 11 December 2012.
This will be the only opportunity to collect academic dress, unless you have made special arrangements. Please email connect.graduations@uws.edu.au.
Return of Academic Dress
Students graduating in the 'Morning Ceremony' and 'Afternoon Ceremony' must return their academic dress to the hire venue in the Academy Library by no later than 5.00pm on the day of graduation (12 December 2012).
Failure to return the academic dress by the specified deadline will incur a late fee of $100.00.
